The "slowest express train in the world" comprises comfortable air-conditioned panorama coaches, with observation windows offering breathtaking views of the impressive Alpine landscape. From the depths of the Rhine Gorge up to the 2033 Oberalp Pass, the Glacier Express has for more than 80 years borne witness to some of the proudest pioneering feats of Alpine railway engineering – including no fewer than 91 tunnels and 291 bridges.
