You're travelling on the GoldenPass Line from Montreux to Zweisimmen (the first panorama train in the world). Then you change trains, continuing through the Simmental Valley to Interlaken and over the Brünig Pass to Lucerne. And if you still wonder what the driver was doing all the way to Zweisimmen – well, he was sitting right above you in his state-of-the-art cabin. Driving the train of course. Travel the GoldenPass Line and you travel between two language regions of Switzerland, six cantons and six lakes. Your journey starts from Montreux on palm-lined Lake Geneva, continues past verdant vineyards, snow-capped summits and pastures with peacefully grazing cattle. It ends in Lucerne in the historic heartland of Switzerland.
